As the UK public Avtograd news assures, despite the prolonged shutdown of the LADA Izhevsk plant, where Vesta is produced, a certain number of cars have previously accumulated in the factory warehouses. All these machines are equipped with “technological wheels” with stamped discs, in exchange for which dealers will mount “shoes” of normal size.
Why “double shoe change” is necessary is not very clear. There is an assumption that in this way the car giant is trying to save alloy wheels, which can be damaged when loading and unloading the brand new West.
