The first LADA Granta Classic 2022 model year rolled off the assembly line of the Volga Automobile Plant. The new equipment will make it possible to turn a really popular car into the cheapest on the Russian market. At the same time, AVTOVAZ did not deprive the model of a scattering of goodies, which were mentioned earlier in the media. With details – the portal “AvtoVzglyad”.
AVTOVAZ beautifully described the release of the redesigned Grants: “The model was developed to locate the car as closely as possible, eliminating the impact of a shortage of imported components.” Simply put, foreign components are not to be expected. In the meantime, not everything is so bad. However, judge for yourself.
The car received heating and electric rear-view mirrors, door moldings and other “chips” previously available only in older versions. In particular, electric windows, ISOFIX child seat mountings, daytime running lights and central locking. But as expected, there were no airbags in the LADA Granta Classic.
Also, there were no anti-lock braking and traction control systems. And the car itself now meets the environmental standards of the second class, or, more simply, Euro-2. But all this does not seem to confuse domestic fans of the model at all.
As far as technology goes, a 90-horsepower engine is buzzing in tandem with a manual transmission under the hood. The car will be available in a few days from dealers in sedan, lifeback and estate bodies, as well as in a special version of Drive Active.
As their own sources told the AvtoVzglyad portal, the price of the car will be lower than the classic Grant, which was previously on sale. In a few days, however, we will know the exact numbers. And it looks like they will pleasantly surprise us…
