Cyberpunk: Mercenaries,Anime by game Cyberpunk 2077 finally won the first teaser, the series has been in development since 2018 and the trailer was released today (08) during the event. geek week gives Netflixteaser shows the first details of the new animation being developed CD PROJECT RED in partnership with studio triggerthe animated series will consist of 10 episodes in the first season and will be released in September this year on Netflix.

The story will take place in night cityalready known setting of the game Cyberpunk 2077 gives CD PROJECT RED, which inspired animation in a future where body modifications and technology are the most common things. The series will focus on a boy who grew up on the streets and fights for survival, eventually becoming a mercenary to stay alive.

Cyberpunk: Mercenaries has been in development since 2018 and is an executive producer and showrunner Rafa? Jaki (The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher: Ronin) are also in production. Sai Elder, Bartosz Stibor as well as Satoru Homma. Animation will do studio triggerlocated in Japan and having Hiroyuki Imaishi (“Gurren Lagann”, “Kill the Assassin”, “Promar”) directing, Masahiko Otsuka (Gurren Lagann, Promar) as assistant director, creative director Hiromi Wakabayashi (“Kill la Kill”), character designers Yo Yoshinari (“Witch Academy”, “BNA”) and Yuto Kaneko (“Witch Academy”). Yoshiki USA (“SSSS.GRIDMAN”, “Promare”) and Masahiko Otsuka (“Kill la Kill”) wrote the script and Akira Yamaoka (from the Silent Hill video game series) composed the anime’s original soundtrack.
