The length of the bridge itself is more than a kilometer and the total length of the crossing is about 20 kilometers, including 6 kilometers of Chinese and 13 kilometers of Russian access roads. You have to pay 8,700 thousand for each car to cross the bridge, and so far the traffic is only open to trucks.
Interestingly, the first shipments to leave Russia were four containers of soybean oil and four of wood. In turn, six containers with tires and electrical appliances left China.
On the Russian side, customs clearance of goods coming through the bridge will be handled through a purpose-built customs bridge near the village of Kanikurgan. It is open 4pm daily – from 8am to midnight.
And continue the theme of long-term road construction. On the northern bypass of Tver on the M11 Neva motorway, installation work has finally started. As the AvtoVzglyad portal discovered, the facility already employs more than 200 people and nearly 90 devices.
