According to Reuters, the sale of cars with petrol and diesel engines is banned in 27 EU countries. And by 2030, manufacturers must reduce harmful emissions from cars by 55%. Attempts by the European People’s Party to relax the law and allow the sale of hybrids were thwarted. However, the hearings are not over yet.
