We all know that Chinese crossovers do not enjoy liquidity in the secondary market. However, the demand for ‘heavenly’ cars is constantly growing. Which of the “Asians” loses the least value after three years of use? The AvtoVzglyad portal got acquainted with the results of the survey.
Analysts of the agency “AUTOSTAT” summarize the results of a study on the safety of the residual value of Chinese cars presented on the Russian market. As part of the Resale Value – 2022 project, experts studied the prices of some “heavenly” model for 2019 and compared it with the average resale price in the first quarter of 2022.
As a result, the Changan CS35 crossover with automatic transmission won the palm, saving 139.1% of the original cost. Simply put, this “Chinese” can be sold for more today than it was bought from a car dealer three years ago. It is clear that this is due to the increase in the price of both new and used cars in the Russian market.
Geely Atlas took second place. And with “mechanics” and a few liters under the hood. The residual value indicator – 136.5% – is quite good. The top three is topped by the Changan CS35 with manual transmission. The “residual” index of this version is 135.8%.
It is worth adding that in recent years, products from China have increased enormously in both quality and price. And not only them, but also cars of absolutely all brands represented in our country came out as a plus in terms of preserving residual value.
