At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, a representative of the traffic police spoke about the department’s preparation for the next reform of the examination system and the procedure for obtaining driving licenses for future drivers. Portal “AvtoVzglyad” provides details.
– A number of changes prepared by our specialized department are still under development and are being discussed, including with the professional community. Therefore, there is no need to talk about the finished product yet … I think there should be progress this year,” Major General Oleg Ponaryin, deputy chief of the traffic police of Russia, told RIA Novosti.
He did not specify what kind of novels he was talking about. However, it was previously announced that the law enforcement agency plans to change the rules for issuing category D licenses, which allow driving a bus. It is proposed to prohibit its receipt by people who have not previously held a category “B” and “C” driving licence. That is, the right to learn to drive a bus is only given to owners of a “passenger” or “cargo” VU.
