The Chinese took good care of the conspiracy: Even the local media that published the photos didn’t dare to put forward their assumptions about what kind of car Haval was testing. And it’s strange, because the photos of the interior bear a clear resemblance to the pre-production SUV, codenamed A07.
That compact crossover was first spotted in road testing about two months ago. Probably the tests had just started then, because the car didn’t even have full-fledged optics. Now she is. But the boot lid looks strange – obviously Haval has not yet approved the final version of the exterior. But they definitely chose the interior – at least it looks pretty pre-production.
Little is known about the Haval A07 to date. Just that it will be based on the Lemon modular platform on which the Jolion and Dargo crossovers are built. In general, it will be a scaled-down copy of the Shenshou model, which debuted in China recently. As for the power units, the novelty can be equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo engine with 184 horsepower. Of. and a seven-speed “robot,” according to the “Chinese Cars” site.
It is too early to talk about the prospects for the appearance of a mysterious novelty from Haval in Russia. It’s likely that company representatives won’t reveal their plans until closer to the premiere, and it apparently won’t happen anytime soon. It seems that Khavale will build another factory in the Tula region much sooner, where engines and gearboxes will be produced. And in more detail about this portal “AvtoVzglyad” is told here.
