By 2023, the Russian auto giant is preparing to produce 500,000 vehicles, TASS reports, citing materials from the company’s supplier conference. This means that the forces of two sites (in Tolyatti and Izhevsk). Recalculating shows that four conveyor belts will produce a total of more than 2,000 cars per day.

This is a really good indicator. Suppose, in the pre-pandemic year 2019, the company managed to produce only 355,000 cars. In addition, the LADA brand models accounted for only 260,000 units, while those of Renault and Datsun were 73,000 and 23,000 respectively.

It’s clear that auto industry support programs will help increase sales. Among them are soft loans, which may be the only chance for impoverished Russians to buy fantastically expensive cars.
