Who benefits from the new service “Showcase of traffic police data”

Russia’s traffic police is preparing to launch a federal information bank that will list the worst traffic offenders. As the AvtoVzglyad portal discovered, the system was named “State Traffic Safety Inspectorate Data Showcase”, but not everyone will be able to “stare” at it.

As early as the fall of 2022, commercial companies (car-sharing operators, taxi aggregators, etc.) will be able to receive data from Vitrina. Moreover, the transfer of information is only possible with the consent of the citizen! That is, if the car-sharing operator wants to check the driver for deprivation of “rights” and the number of traffic violations, he must first make a request through the State Services Portal (EPGU). That is, the service is not available to the general public.

Of course, the new database will make it possible to relieve the Federal Information System (FIS) of the traffic police from unnecessary requests. In addition, from July 1, the services “Operative data sampling” and “Traffic police supervision” will come into effect, in which diagnosis maps and photos of cars under maintenance will be published.

And another important news for Russian motorists. Since June 20, a faceless algorithm started writing off debt on unpaid fines. Employees of the Federal Bailiff (FSSP) now have nothing to do with this process, which, as experts of the AvtoVzglyad portal are sure, will backfire on millions of drivers.
