ASUS just announced Zenbook 14X OLED space versiona special model of the company, released in honor of the 25th anniversary of the brand’s first laptop sent into space.

It features a futuristic 3.5″ ZenVision OLED touchscreen on the outside of the lid to display personalized notifications, animations or text. According to ASUS, some design elements of the Zenbook 14X OLED Space Edition hark back to the brand’s first space trip.

The new Zenbook is made from aluminum alloy and features a Zero-G Titanium color finish. Design elements were based on the Mir space station and include Morse code cues. The arcuate lines on the lid symbolize the appearance of the space capsule, and one of the lines is Morse code, symbolizing the Latin proverb “ad astra per aspera”, which means “Through difficulties to the stars.”
