Subaru prepares to be a “daring” Forester STi.  to release

Fans of the Japanese brand respect the letter STi for its insane speed and cross-country ability. This is probably why Subaru decided to release the popular Forester crossover with the STi Sport nameplate. That’s just from the legendary “Poems” the novelty only gets the name. However, judge for yourself.

The main difference between a la sports Forester and the standard is styling and a modified suspension. So in the STi Sport version, the crossover gets stiffer shock absorbers tuned for sharp handling. In addition, the car will receive stylish 18-inch black rims, a black grille, side mirror housings, a spoiler and other decorative elements.

Belonging to the “ominous” version is emphasized by nameplates and plates with the characteristic STi lettering. The interior is diluted with black and burgundy nappa leather upholstery. That’s actually all innovation.

Unfortunately, in technical terms, there were no sensations. The movement of the crossover is not at all “racing” – by STi standards – a 1.8-liter engine combined with a continuously variable variator. However, this doesn’t take away from the “subarists” the right to appear cooler than they are.

By the way, the AvtoVzglyad portal tested the last iteration of the Subaru Forester crossover, which is sold on the Russian market. The car left a very mixed impression: more – here.
