As the AvtoVzglyad portal recently reported, the Minsk car factory was the first to find an alternative to European and American spare parts, which after recent events have been banned by creating “anti-sanction” bus models. Experts from OJSC MAZ suggested that the fire started in the engine compartment because oil from the hydraulic drive system of the fan got onto the hot parts of the engine. There are suggestions that the supplier replaced the checked flanges with leaking counterfeits.
As a result, the factory is now hastily preparing high-quality analogues of dubious components, and even with complete control over each instance. Accordingly, once the order is completed, new parts will be installed on all buses.
And another important event in the life of the Minsk Automobile Plant. The Day of Electric Transport was recently held in the Belarusian capital, where MAZ showed the latest generation of city trucks – an environmentally friendly model MAZ-4381EE.
