Delegates of the State Duma, in the third, final reading, passed a bill on administrative responsibility for the release of production and consumption waste from vehicles, in other words waste. A cigarette butt, an empty bottle or any other object thrown from the window onto the road will cost an uncivilized driver or passenger at least 10,000 rubles. But again, this is the bare minimum…

So, if a person is caught “dumping (unloading) production and consumption waste from a vehicle outside the waste storage and disposal facilities or other specially designated places”, then the fine will be from 10,000 to 15,000 rubles for the first time . For individual entrepreneurs – from 20,000 to 30,000 rubles, for legal entities – from 30,000 to 50,000. If we are talking about solving a camera misbehavior, then this is 10,000 rubles that will be spent on the owner of the vehicle.

For those for whom one penalty is not enough, penalties are provided for repeated violations during the year. Individuals for the second and each subsequent time are fined from 20,000 to 30,000 rubles, individual entrepreneurs – from 40,000 to 60,000 “wooden”, and with the seizure of the vehicle, legal entities – from 60,000 to 100,000, and also with the seizure of a car. The fine from the automatic fixation camera has also doubled – from 10,000 to 20,000 rubles.

But this applies to cars and light commercial vehicles. Trucks, trailers, tractors and other self-driving vehicles have increased liability: individuals – from 40,000 to 50,000 rubles, individual entrepreneurs – from 60,000 to 80,000 rubles, legal entities – from 100,000 to 120,000. And a fine from the camera – 100,000 rubles.

It just needs to be added that the law will come into effect 180 days after publication. That is, if he “passes” the Federation Council and the president in the very next few days (and it probably will), then the fines will be handed out as early as January 2023.
