There are no Renault and Dacia decals on the crossover renderings, but the head optic with a characteristic pattern, the shape of the lamps and the radiator grille indicate that we have a restyled Duster, which appeared on the European market last autumn.
With the update, European buyers received a six-speed dual-clutch “robot”, which is combined with the well-known supercharged TCe 150 engine. The drive in this version is only the front. Diesel engines have also undergone changes, which are not so popular with us, but that does not deprive them of their raison d’être.
Many media have already started talking that the production of a crossover in Russia will not be curtailed. However, there is no need to build illusions. It is unlikely that the updated Duster will appear in car dealerships, because a patent application was filed on January 19, that is, long before the well-known events began.
