Moscow to produce the world’s most environmentally friendly petrol

The Moscow Oil Refinery (NPZ) becomes one of the most environmentally friendly enterprises in Europe. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin spoke about this. Now the enterprise is in the third stage of modernization – the most difficult and expensive. But it is he who will reduce emissions of harmful substances and make production more efficient.

According to TASS, during the third phase, a deep oil refining complex will be built, new jobs will be created and a number of measures will be taken to increase production of the fuel requested by the city.

“It’s great that the company has not stopped there and is implementing the third phase of modernization, the most complex, most technologically advanced and financially intensive. Despite the economic difficulties and sanctions, this process does not stop because most of the equipment is Russian. After the work is completed, the factory will be the cleanest not only in Russia, but also in Europe,” Sergei Sobyanin told media representatives.

Recall that the modernization of the oil refinery in Moscow started in 2011, and all work is planned to be completed by 2025.
