Microsoft announced this week that it has begun public testing of a new One disc, its cloud storage and file sharing service called Photo Story. The company says this new feature will make it easier to share photos and videos with friends and family.

Originally launched in 2007 as SkyDrive, the service was rebranded as OneDrive for reasons related to Sky’s branding in the UK. He offers free plan for home users with 5 GB of cloud storage and a paid plan with 100 GB of space for 119 reais per year. Microsoft 365 Personal subscribers get an additional 1TB of space, and Microsoft 365 Family subscribers get up to 6TB of additional space (1TB per person).

Microsoft is constantly updating OneDrive with new features and functionality. Since its launch, Microsoft’s cloud-based file storage and sharing service has gained features such as Personal Vault, which allows you to more securely store files in a separate secure folder, improved photo editor and more.

As for the new Photo Story feature announced this week, it allows you to create a personalized feed of photos and videos to share with the user’s followers, including selected friends and family. Subscribers will be able to access the content of the feed completely ad-free.

To use the new feature, the user needs to create a new post in their feed, select the photos and videos to post, add additional information such as location, add a description, and publish the post, according to Microsoft. After creating a story, the next step is to share it with your followers.

To share a story with specific people from the Internet or application for iOS and Android, just add the subscriber’s email address to the “Invite” field of your story and confirm. Microsoft says it’s not all good news. The Photo Story feature is currently only available to users in Australia.. By the end of this year, it will also be available to users in the US and other regions that the company has yet to announce.
