Most European and American motor oil manufacturers have announced their withdrawal from the Russian market. Offices are closed, warehouses are evicted, employees are released on free bread… However, car dealerships are still bursting with a plethora of “sanctions”. A logical question: where does all this abundance come from?
We called our acquaintances from the lubricant industry who until recently worked for “foreign partners” and are now actively looking for work. When asked if there were large stocks of goods in Russia, everyone replied as if it was a “dealer” that the warehouses lasted up to 3 months without new deliveries. But the warehouses are already empty and the leases have ended, because after the onset of the well-known events and price swings, dealers quickly halved the distributors’ stocks and the rest were sold out after the headquarters decided to leave Russia .
Our interlocutors were skeptical about parallel imports (import of goods without the permission of the brand owner). Indeed, the purchase by some German, French, or American of a car filled with oil and sending it at his own expense to an uncle in Russia for personal needs, sounds utopian. And importing over closed direct corridors makes logistics too expensive (duplicate customs must be taken into account).
So how can cans of oil from manufacturers that have left our market still flaunt on the shelves? As our sources explained, there are still remnants in chain stores, but at the same time, counterfeit products are also beginning to appear actively. After all, this is a damn profitable business, because the cost of a barrel of Russian oil after being packed in canisters of American or European brands increases by 6-7 times! And it’s good if house oil is poured into the fake, and not some kind of Chinese transportation or mining. A modern car on such a lubricant will not get very far.
Switch to household oil? The option is not bad, but it is embarrassing that we do not have modern additives for oils, without which the lubricant is only a base, suitable only for lubricating sewing machines. It makes sense to take a closer look at new imported brands, which now have the opportunity to enter our victorious lubricant market. It makes no sense for “fake oil press” to fake such oils, because it is interesting for “pirates” to earn money from well-known brands. As long as there is interest in the product, it will be counterfeited. And new oils are not yet known to anyone. Investing in advertising yourself is certainly not the business model of counterfeit manufacturers.
At the same time, the quality of such oils is in no way inferior to the brands that have left our country. Take, for example, the German manufacturer BIZOL, which today successfully sells its products on 5 continents.
Oils from this manufacturer have been produced, approved and approved by all major European car manufacturers since 1998. BIZOL oils meet all major international standards and classifications: SAE, ACEA, ILSAC, API. To ensure consistently high quality, production is carried out in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 and environmental certifications DIN EN ISO 14001:2005.
The company’s exclusive branded product is a range of innovative oils Green Oil +. This range of lubricants is specially designed for today’s drivetrains and offers the highest degree of protection against wear, especially when driving on uneven urban cycles. To effectively protect the motors of today’s machines, BIZOL engineers and chemists have developed a triple wear protection system. It includes three new technologies.
2D Surface Gel technology gives the oil a special structure that provides better adhesion to metal surfaces, a more stable oil film and a constant film thickness, even under engine shutdown conditions. In other words, the oil does not drain completely from the parts even when parked for a long time.
COMB LubriBoost technology is a polymeric friction modifier that creates and maintains excellent lubricating film strength, which is essential for engine lubrication under severe start-stop conditions. BIZOL W-guard technology is essential to protect the timing chain from wear. Chains are subject to enormous stress during use and to minimize wear, the lubricant must have certain properties. The combination of these three technologies reduces the load on the engine and reduces fuel consumption.
In addition, BIZOL is the first German motor oil manufacturer to win the prestigious IAIR Award for Best Company for Innovation and Leadership. This prize was awarded to representatives of all industries, but BIZOL was the first German manufacturer of motor oils.
Since then, BIZOL has received numerous awards for its convenient, practical and counterfeit-resistant packaging design.
The company manufactures the entire product range in one factory in Germany, from where the products are sold all over the world. Centralized production allows you to clearly control the processes for sourcing raw materials and production, maintaining quality at the highest level.
Despite sanction pressures, this high-quality German oil is legally and officially supplied to the Russian market at very reasonable prices.
