Vyacheslav Petushenko, the head of the state-owned company Avtodor, assessed the advantages of the construction of another toll highway, which will make traveling “south” faster and more comfortable. Portal “AvtoVzglyad” provides details.
– Travel time from Dzhubga to Sochi is reduced by five hours: now people travel six hours, it will be an hour. So, from Moscow to Dzhubga – about 1400 kilometers, and from Dzhubga to Sochi 100 kilometers, in total – 1500 kilometers. In the future, this path can be covered in 15 hours at a speed of 100 km/h. Today, tourists travel for 24 hours,” said Petushenko.
It should be borne in mind that if you drive at a speed only slightly below the limits of the “non-penalized” interval (+20 km / h to the allowable), then the journey from Moscow to Sochi along the future highway will not exceed 12 hours.
However, the timing of the construction of the Dzhubga-Sochi highway has not yet been determined. The state-owned company plans to approve them by the end of 2022 and submit the design to the country’s leaders, RIA Novosti reports. The inventory work along the route of the future payer has now been completed. Construction is complicated by the mountainous terrain and the need to build bypasses of large coastal settlements.
Apparently, even before the start of the real work on the high-speed highway along the Black Sea coast, the Avtodor Group of Companies will have time to complete the construction of high-speed highways for Rostov and Krasnodar.
