The car attracted their attention with the tinting of the front side windows. During the investigation, it turned out that the police had already stopped this driver a few weeks earlier. Subsequently, a protocol was drawn up for him “for coloring” – on driving a vehicle that did not meet the requirements of the technical regulations. At the same time, he received a written demand to lift the violation and eliminate the hue.

The driver ignored him and continued to drive in the old way. After discovering all this background, the police released a report to the driver that he “failed to comply with the employee’s lawful requirement” to remove the tint, in accordance with Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative violations of the Russian Federation. Immediately after that, he was taken to the court of the Leninsky district of Krasnoyarsk, where he was promptly “written out” for 10 days of administrative arrest. The AvtoVzglyad portal has repeatedly warned in its publications about this method of “communication” with drivers in the arsenal of the traffic police. It’s possible it will become even more widespread, despite the objective insignificance of such driver misconduct as driving with tinted windshields.
