In the margins of the international exhibition Innoprom, a meeting of the industry ministers of Bashkiria and Belarus took place. As the AvtoVzglyad portal found out, the result of these negotiations was the decision of the Belarusian side to build an entire car plant.
The first stage of mutually beneficial cooperation should be the purchase of a MAZ chassis, on which the enterprises of the Republic of Bashkortostan will install their own superstructure. But the second stage is the organization of the assembly of the Belarusian trucks themselves for later sale to Russian customers.
The future car factory will be exempt from property tax, apply a reduced income tax rate and also offer an income tax deduction. In addition, the company receives special rental rates and various subsidies.
As possible options, the Mazovian leadership will be offered the Tuymazinsky industrial technopark “Master”, the Ufa industrial park “PromCentre”, the base of the Sterlitamak enterprise “Red Proletarian” and the site “Akros-RB” near Ufa.
Meanwhile, the Minsk Automobile Plant itself has developed a third-generation city bus – a very spectacular car, which was equipped with European units. However, now MAZ has managed to show how it is possible to do without German components.
