In Togliatti, they were finally able to launch the second conveyor – the line from which LADA Niva’s SUVs will depart. Dozens of bodies are being welded for the family this week, and painting and assembling begins next week.
Initially, AVTOVAZ planned to restore production of LADA Niva Legend on July 13, so the launch will be ahead of schedule. In July, according to the public “Atypical AVTOVAZ”, it is planned to daily assemble about 200 three-door SUVs with a single-shift operation.
In total, the Russian auto giant should give the market about 11,000 “simplified” cars LADA Granta Classic and LADA Niva Legend by the end of the month.
In addition, the LADA Sport court workshop managed to Togliatti to resume production of the cool LADA Granta Drive Active, which differed from the usual Granta by 28 original parts, including a branded body kit and anatomical seats.
