– You have touched upon the most vulnerable industry, namely the car industry. The decline in the market and production will be about 50% this year, Manturov told deputies.
Recall that a few days earlier, President Vladimir Putin, by his decree, increased the number of deputy prime ministers of Russia from 10 to 11. It is proposed to appoint the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov as the new deputy prime minister. At the same time, he will retain the position of Minister of Industry and Trade. Manturov’s candidacy must go through the procedure of coordination with the deputies of the State Duma.
Recall that on July 14, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce launched a program to incentivize domestic automakers through state funding of 20% off the purchase of LADA, UAZ and GAZ cars. It also provides for a 35% discount on Evolut electric vehicles, which are expected to be produced in Lipetsk by assembling from Chinese car kits.
