The Haval brand continues to expand the “dogs” family. His firstborn was the DaGou model (“Big Dog”), which entered the Russian market under the name Dargo. And now the KuGou crossover, which translates as “Cool dog”, has completed the line.
Technically, Haval KuGou is the closest relative of the well-known Jolion crossover to Russians, as both cars are built on a single modular LEMON platform. At the same time, the newcomer is slightly longer and wider, and most importantly, as much as 17 inches taller than the Jolion .
And, of course, these crossovers can not be confused externally … The authors tried to make the “Cool Dog” as brutal as possible, extremely overestimating the glaze line and relying on chopped shapes. By the way, the strange stamping on the fifth door is just an imitation of the spare wheel cover! It’s empty inside.
The salon is also deliberately rough. But in order not to depress passengers, the designers used bright finishing materials, and the massive front panel was decorated with carbon-look inserts. The main dominant of the cabin, as is now customary, is a 12-inch “tablet” of the media system.
The range includes only 1.5 liter engines with an efficiency of 150 and 184 hp. met., and the only gearbox available is a preselective 7-speed “robot”. Almost all versions have front-wheel drive and only the richest equipment offers a 4×4 transmission.
In terms of equipment, KuGou may show off all the achievements of the modern automotive industry: from a panoramic roof and contour lighting to advanced security systems and first-class acoustics. And all this at a very competitive price.
For 120,000 yuan (which is equivalent to a million rubles), the buyer will receive an already well-packaged copy. Admittedly, the older DaGou surprisingly costs even less! But this strange feature will have to be left on the conscience of the Haweil marketers.
By the way, Haval Big Dog (translated as “Big Dog”) started in our market about a month ago. And the AvtoVzglyad portal immediately predicted that the “big dog” would certainly turn out to be painful, problematic, untrainable and make its owner suffer.
