Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has signed a decree protecting buyers from unscrupulous used car sellers. This document cancels the “account certificate” known to many, according to which cars previously left car dealers.

A reference invoice is a strictly justified document that confirms the purchase of a vehicle by a private individual. Based on this, the buyer was given the opportunity to register the purchased car with the traffic police. True, this document can only be issued by legal entities and individual entrepreneurs.

Registration of the purchase and sale of vehicles by drawing up an invoice certificate is now prohibited. In addition, settlements between legal entities (or individual entrepreneurs) and private individuals can no longer be made in cash.

In addition, it must be stated in the contract between the buyer and the seller that the owner sells the car without restrictions, charges and prohibitions. The purchase agreement itself can be registered through a notary, and not just through the traffic police.

By the way, the prolonged peak of the Russian car market, which, in fact, reached the bottom, forced those of our compatriots, completely stuck with the renewal of their personal fleet, to actively look for cars “on the side ”. Just in same Belarus.

However, such a purchase has certain (sometimes quite significant) flaws or at least difficulties in the acquisition process. The portal “AvtoVzglyad” tells about this in detail.
