The first losses started before the start. The crew of Andrey Rudsky and Andrey Rudnitsky could not leave. Their prototype G-Force BARS broke almost every day. It was no accident that Vladimir Vasiliev remembered the stones. A year ago, during the marathon stage in Altai, he broke the wheels, there were no spare parts left. Vasiliev, one of the leaders, dropped out of the competition. And the 2021 Silk Road victory was so close…
In second place are Denis Krotov and Konstantin Zhiltsov.
“Denis got confused today and I talked too much,” Konstantin Zhiltsov told AvtoVzglyad. There were good places. I understand that it is difficult to prescribe them, because it is not clear who is driving on which road. In one place we made such a jump, and after landing there were no more brakes. This is how the last 80-100 kilometers went.

– This is the longest stage, we rode it without stopping, – Evgeny Sukhovenko told AvtoVzglyad. We drove quickly and carefully. The car went the whole way with no problems. In the evening we visited the closed park. No repairs are needed, just routine maintenance. I loved the weather – cool, no heat from yesterday. Towards the end it started to rain, some new roads were added, we were very happy with this.
Alexander Maksimov is again leading the ATV standings, but his teammate Alexander Gilemov failed to finish. Let’s see if they can fix it.
The MAZ-SPORTauto team is really in trouble – the wheels explode regularly, like fireworks for the new year.
“Nothing new happened, three wheels exploded today,” Sergei Vyazovich reacted emotionally on the day. We changed two and the third – we are running without a tread, because there are no spare parts left! That’s the whole story. Even the body was damaged by the explosion. The protector shatters – and that’s it. Three wheels today! Who cares how we feel? We can’t go!
This situation is especially unpleasant because you will not get spare parts in the bivouac – a marathon stage! Spare parts – only those that are with you. The rest will not be available until the following evening. All hope for teammates is Vishnevsky’s crew, who kept all four spare wheels. But it’s no fun either – the superstructure of the body collapsed. Repairs are underway in the closed park and the question remains – will both MAZs be able to start tomorrow?
All three GAZ trucks “Sadko Next» successfully completed the entire distance. The cars were serviced quickly, the crews were resting.
– The first third of the special stage was cool, fast, – Alexey Khlebov, the pilot of the GAZ Reid Sport team, told AvtoVzglyad. And then such a washboard began to wrinkle in the eyes.
