The most requested passenger car leasing brand in the period from January to June was the domestic LADA. As analysts of Gazprombank Autoleasing told the AvtoVzglyad portal, it accounts for almost 13% of sales. The second line of the “hit parade” is occupied by the Korean KIA with an indicator of 9.9%, and the German Mercedes-Benz closes the top three with 8.6%. In fourth place is the Japanese Toyota (7.9%) and fifth is the Bavarian BMW (7.4%).
But a decline was recorded in the freight segment. Leases for the first six months of 2022 were closed by 43% less than a year earlier. The leader of the LCV is the domestic GAZ (52.8%), followed by the foreign Ford (12.3%) and the timeless UAZ (11.6%).
Incidentally, the car loans segment has also increased. So nearly 40,000 loan agreements were drawn up in June alone. After all, the Russian Central Bank lowered the key rate to “almost pre-crisis” 11%.
