But if the Japanese decide to end the partnership with Sollers permanently, they will probably find a replacement soon. For example, Geely could become a new partner of the domestic holding company.
According to the PrimaMedia agency, active negotiations are underway to open Geely dealerships in Vladivostok and Khabarovsk. The parties may also discuss the possible localization of cars at the Sollers joint venture with Mazda at a meeting of the Russian-Chinese Business Council. The AvtoVzglyad portal requested official confirmation of the information to the brand’s Russian representative office, but they declined to comment.
