Some time ago, Great Wall set itself the goal of conquering the Chinese pickup market. It only took 3 years to complete the task! Now the Great Walls for passengers and freight occupy more than half of the local market. And to consolidate the title of leader, the company created a very interesting Cannon model.

Now Great Wall has patented the Cannon design through Rospatent. This does not mean at all that the Chinese brand plans to bring the novelty to the domestic market: perhaps the brand’s office has only gone through the necessary bureaucratic procedures.

However, as practice shows, manufacturers from China often work according to a proven scheme: first a patent is granted, then the mandatory certification is passed, and then car sales begin.

In any case, fans of big cars will certainly be happy with the release of “Cannon”, as the name Cannon is translated. In our latitudes, not a single full-size pickup is sold, so the Chinese, if they make an appropriate decision, will occupy an absolutely empty niche.

The power unit gives the model a special charm: under the hood of the top version of the car is a three-liter V6 with a return of 354 forces, blocking a 9-band “automatic”. The disk is, of course, only full.

In general, “heavenly” brands receive Russian patents for industrial designs almost every month. And lastly, they “plotted out” the design of the coupe-shaped crossover Haval H6S – images of the novelty have already appeared in the Rospatent database.
