Why is it absolutely impossible to buy Chinese lighting equipment for cars?
The rapidly rising prices of spare parts are pushing car owners “into the hands” of the Chinese counterpart, which, according to the seller, is no different. However, not everything is as simple as it seems. It is quite difficult to tell the difference in filters and other nodes, but optics gives the exact answer to the eternal question of saving. Details are on the AvtoVzglyad portal.

In a fit of political and economic blizzard that hit our swamps, Russians began to speak more and more of Chinese manufacturers with approval, saying they are no worse than a damaging European manufacturer slamming the door on its way out. And if so, why pay more? You give Chinese parts to everything and everyone! Undoubtedly, the quality of the Chinese counterpart has improved significantly in recent years, surpassing the total nightmare observed in the “tenth”. Maneuvering between names and companies, you can pick up a “good” option, but only a “good” one. Not anymore.

A good and striking example is optics. It seems they are bottled at one factory, why pay the copyright owner for free when you can solve your “low blood” problem? Outwardly, it looks the same, it works – it works, the traffic police officer and the technical inspection will not find any errors. A win-win deal, nothing else. However, after a few years of use, juicy details become apparent.

First, even working in normal modes and with a standard lamp, read, without any improvement that the Russian driver loves so much, the Chinese lamp begins to deform. The plastic is thinner, not of the same consistency, so the device is starting to change before our eyes. And this is in Moscow, where the climate is not characterized by hot summers and bitter cold in winter. Second, the matter does not end with one change of form. With the naked eye, it can be seen that the plastic inside started to melt due to the temperature of the most common “Ilyich’s light bulb”, which is responsible for the parking lights. Calling a shovel a shovel, a long journey can easily end in a fire. The outlook is so-so.

All cars have damage, there is no crime here, but the forced replacement of the headlight is a reason to look for a new one or, at worst, call dismantling. Even the worn “original” is preferable, because it can be “brought to life”, polished and varnished, cleaned and brought to mind. The Chinese, bought, I find, were forced, fell into disrepair in just a few years of operation, which is unacceptable by today’s standards.

We can’t afford to change cars often now. You can argue endlessly about “brand equity”, “overpaid for a box” and other popular car maintenance statements, but the fact remains: “China” is not comparable to the “original”. Yes, outwardly it is extremely similar, without a magnifying glass and narrow profile knowledge you cannot distinguish it.

Yes, the manufacturers of the Celestial Empire have grown up in recent years, they stopped pursuing outright fakes, they began to pay attention to the required parameters. But the main point of the dispute is the price. “Chinese” is cheaper, so it’s worth calling a shovel a shovel: we buy because we can afford it. And nothing else.
