Dashing highway rides for a team of Sochi jeepers specializing in recreational off-road trips for visiting tourists resulted in a lot of fines. The AvtoVzglyad portal publishes a video of the police.
The video was enough to put a sad end to any driver in the vigorous escapade of tourist “UAZs” on one of Sochi’s highways. The video, filmed from inside one of the passenger cars moving slowly down a two-lane highway, shows a pair of convertibles based on the UAZ “Hunter” with people standing in the back brutally taxiing out of a row of cars. drove into the “counter lane” and disappeared from view.
It should be noted that “Oises” tuned in this way are widely used by Sochi businessmen for organizing tourist trips along the surrounding mountain trails. It is not certain whether the author of the video sent his video to law enforcement or if the police came across it themselves while studying the local public. Be that as it may, the Sochi traffic police got excited, found the “dzhigits” on off-road convertibles and decided to roughly punish them.
Based on the video, each of the SUV drivers entering the oncoming lane received several fine decisions at once: under Article 12.15 of the Code of Administrative Violations of the Russian Federation for driving into the oncoming lane (5,000 rubles fine or deprivation of the VU), according to Article 12.23 of the Code of Administrative Violations of the Russian Federation “rules of violation of the transport of people “(for tourists standing in the back) – for 500 rubles, according to Article 12.5 of the Code of Administrative Violations of the Russian Federation – for driving an illegally converted vehicle (also for 500 rubles) and pursuant to Article 12.37 of the Code of Administrative Offenses – for driving without OSAGO (for 800 rubles). On the one hand, all the fines are in the case, there are no questions. But something is still unclear…
In the summer season, hundreds of such UAZ fighters, converted into convertibles with tourists on their backs, “cut” through the Sochi-Adler agglomeration during the summer season. Often trips are accompanied by flashy traffic violations – for the entertainment of vacationers. And nothing: the local traffic police have not seen these violations for years, as they say, “point blank”. Leading to the suspicion of an “informal relationship” between the organizers of extreme car trips and local law enforcement officers. In this regard, I would like to hope that the case of the “treatment” of reckless animators who went to the “oncoming vehicle” will not remain the first and last in the modern history of the Black Sea coast of Russia.
