The openings are wide and the first step is quite low, so even an elderly person will comfortably climb into the interior of the van. And to make it completely comfortable for the passengers, air ducts and a climate control unit have been installed on the ceiling panel.

In general, even sitting in the gallery in Zafira Life, you will not lack free space and fresh air. And yes, the seats are quite comfortable. Well, except the middle row can’t be rotated 360 degrees so it would be even more fun to ride in a big campaign.

The function of the left is assigned to a wide window sill, which not everyone can reach with the elbow. And here are quite specific cup holders – under the glass on the front panel. And the glass standing next to him would not interfere with the manipulation of the gearbox.

Otherwise, as they say, everything is intuitive, in front of your eyes and at your fingertips. The devices are perfectly readable, mastering the multimedia system does not take much time and reading the instructions. Yes, and little things on the road are where to slide – roomy pockets are provided in the door cards and there’s a pair of glove boxes opposite the front passenger. And the Zafira Life sits well, because a travel fridge fits perfectly between the front seats.

But in the luggage compartment there is a small, but minus – in the short version, the spare tire is stored here along with things, which takes up a large part of the free space. And if the car, as they say, is overcrowded, then the stock of free space in the trunk may not be enough. We have to scatter some stuff around the hut, where there are more than enough places. In addition, no one has canceled the ergonomic box, which can be easily installed on the roof. Well, in the long version, the spare wheel fits under the floor – at least travel with a whole football team.

The Zafira Life drives wonderfully. Instead, it floats, swaying on the waves of uneven asphalt. Sometimes she does it too zealously, pecking her nose and shaking her stern. But in general, it’s better to move in the build-up than to recoil at every bump. By the way, the “bead” suspension is very well trained to counteract poor coverage – it works bumps and potholes perfectly and without compromising passenger comfort.

But what is missing here, especially after the “German” vans, is sharpness in management. Opel’s reactions are smoother. But this does not mean that the car should be grabbed on the road or strained in bends. It’s just that the steering wheel is “quieter” here and the stroke “long”.

The colossal advantage of the Zafira with the Life prefix is ​​the engine. A 150 horsepower diesel engine isn’t exactly an athlete, but it pulls so hard you can feel confident and bold on the track. The lack of power is not felt even with frisky overtaking at speeds. Yes, and from the place “vomits” – be healthy.

The consumption of the car is almost 8 liters per hundred kilometers. And this is especially nice if you travel long distances – the road really costs a penny and the rest becomes profitable. And we have not yet said that this engine is very reliable and unpretentious. Now they said.
