The company of the Japanese car tire manufacturer Yokohama, located in the Special Economic Zone of Lipetsk, has restarted production, according to the AvtoVzglyad portal.

— The company has resumed work, a rubber facility has been installed. All workers receive full pay, – such a message was distributed by the press service of the government of the Lipetsk region after the meeting of the governor of the region Igor Artamonov with representatives of the Yokohama plant.

Recall that in the spring of this year, Artamonov warned the management of Yokohama RPZ LLC that if the plant does not return to the previous mode of operation within a month, leaving the state of “suspension of production”, the enterprise will be without employees.

The authorities then promised to hire the tire company’s employees at other companies in the region. The management of the Yokohama factory decided to resume production, but problems with the supply of raw materials prevented this from happening quickly. Apparently they managed to fix it at this point.
