Participants of the motorcycle race “Run of Freedom” arrived at the Victory Museum. This action was organized by the association “Motorcyclists of Slovakia – Brother for Brother”. It is dedicated to the heroes of the Red Army, the 1st Czechoslovak Army Corps and the Slovak National Uprising who fell in the battles of the Second World War.
During the visit, Slovak and Czech motorcyclists laid flowers at the Eternal Flame in front of the Victory Museum building and also viewed the museum’s exhibits and exhibits.
“Every European who comes to Russia should visit the Victory Museum. This is the least he can do to save memory. We must show the youth that the heroes of the Second World War should not be forgotten. We will spread the memory of veterans as long as we live,” said Matus Aleksa, the organizer of the Slovak Civil Association of Motorcyclists of Slovakia.
The guests visited the “Ordinary Nazism” exhibition, which is supported by the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives. Also, Slovak activists toured the exhibition “The Feat of the People”, in the multimedia hall “Faces of Victory”. Representatives of the Moscow City Council of Veterans also took part in the event.
