Supreme Court told how they drive after being deprived of “rights”
Some drivers, who have been robbed of a / y, go out all kinds of tricks to somehow continue to use the car. One of these “loopholes” was recently opened by the Supreme Court, according to the AvtoVzglyad portal.

The case of a certain citizen named Konstantin Belokon reached the highest court in Russia. According to the file No. 4-AD22-13-K1, the driver tried to cancel the decision of the Odintsovo District Court of the Moscow Region. The story began as early as 2014, when Belokon was stripped of his “rights” for refusing to undergo a medical examination. In theory, after such a ruling, the motorist must transfer the ‘rights’ to the traffic police. But Comrade Belokon did not. We can assume that he did not stop driving after that. This is suggested by the fact that five years later (!), already in 2019, he suddenly wrote a statement to the traffic police that he had lost his “rights”.

And apparently he kept sending again. He was certainly stopped more than once by traffic police inspectors, but it must be assumed that the “crusts” of Belokon did not arouse suspicion in any of them. This “rope” continued to “twist” until April 2021, when an expropriated citizen’s Porsche Cayenne S was stopped by traffic police on the M1 Belarus highway. Then everything was revealed. The “rights” were seized, and the driver was fined 30,000 rubles by a court decision under Article 12.7 of the Code of Administrative Offenses – for driving a vehicle with a person without a driver’s license. Konstantin Belokon disagreed, arguing that since 2019, when the statement about the loss of his “rights” was written, he has reportedly not been driving until 2021, when his certificate was magically found.

That is, it appears that he served the term of deprivation of “rights” appointed in 2014, and therefore, at the time of detention in 2021, he was no longer a person without a military license. In other words, Citizen Belokon claimed he was no longer guilty of anything and did not deserve a 30,000 fine. Supreme Court Justice Nikiforov reviewed the materials of the case and acknowledged that the sentence for Mr. Belokon was absolutely legal, disbelieving in the story of the loss and subsequent discovery of a driver’s license. Since the period of deprivation of “rights” is counted from when they were actually revoked by the traffic police, it started for the offender not in 2019, but in April 2021, when they were taken from him by officers on the M1 motorway.

So we can say that the law has triumphed. However, the sediment remained. After all, we see that a citizen who has been deprived of “rights” with suspicion of drink-driving drove a car for seven years without any problems – from 2014 to 2021! And no one would know anything without his laziness. The fact is that already in 2021, Belokon had the opportunity to go to the traffic police and, having passed the theoretical exam of traffic rules, inevitably in the recovery of “rights” after deprivation, even then get a brand new military equipment. Now you have to walk. Or you don’t have to…
