Chinese automaker Chery is expanding its marketing presence in the Russian market. Today the company announced the start of a collaboration with football club Spartak. The Chinese will provide the team with their best crossovers.

Chery announced the start of the collaboration with football club Spartak today. Recall that before that, from 2015 to 2022, the club’s partner in Moscow was the Japanese car manufacturer Nissan.

As part of the agreement, Chery will transfer his cars to the club. First of all, this is the best-selling Tiggo 7 Pro, as well as the Tiggo 8 Pro Max seven-seater four-wheel drive crossovers.

In response, the car manufacturer’s logo will appear on the uniform of the Moscow club, on the screens of the home stadium of the Otkritie Bank Arena, on the team bus and, of course, on the official website.

The general manager of Spartak, Evgeny Melezhikov, told the AvtoVzglyad portal that the players will receive red cars. Of course they are distributed at the request of the athletes. If, say, the central defender of the Moscow “Spartak” Georgy Jikia prefers “Cheri” to his black “Volga”, then no one will object.

However, it is unlikely that the team members will refuse the opportunity to test crossovers, as the Chinese car industry has made a serious step forward in recent years, surpassing not only the legends of the Soviet car industry, but also the products from even some European brands in terms of comfort.
