AVTOVAZ resumes production of the LADA Granta with airbags. In the top versions, the cars also get a passenger airbag and belts with pretensioners.
From August 23, all LADA Granta cars of the model year 2022, from the base version, will be equipped with a driver airbag. The design and settings of the security system, as well as the steering wheel, are similar to those of the VAZ family before.
The price of the basic version of Granta, with a driver’s airbag, starts from 753,500 rubles or 602,800 rubles under the state program of preferential loans, which is valid until December 1, 2022.
AVTOVAZ president Maxim Sokolov called the resumption of production of cars with airbags a real victory for the entire factory staff and partners. The top manager promised to further expand the list of car equipment. It remains to wait for ABS systems to appear on the machines.
