The disc is replaced when it is nearly worn out. Incidentally, this can affect security in a cryptic situation. And new brake pads will wear out the old disc faster. So it is better to drive carefully with car parts, otherwise the same worn wheels will lead to a small accident, where you will be blamed.

Indeed, during the repair, the car is stationary, which means that it does not bring a profit.
