AvtoVAZ admits that production of the LADA Largus electric car could start as early as next year. Prototypes appear first, then the first test batch is released. And

In developing the Electrolagrus, the designers followed the path taken when creating the LADA Ellada. Recall that it was based on the LADA Kalina station wagon. With e-Largus, an electric motor is installed under the hood and traction batteries are placed both under the hood and near the rear seats for optimal weight distribution of the car.
