The appearance of the electric crossover Mercedes-Benz EQS revealed before…

Photos of the exterior of the Mercedes-Benz EQS crossover appeared on the network, a little more than a week left before the premiere. Judging by the pictures published by the Cochespias website, the new EQS liftback will borrow not only a twin-engine power plant, battery and multimedia system, but also the main features of the exterior. Actually, the crossover got the “face” of the liftback of the same name in almost unchanged form, except for the reduced air ducts.

The electric crossover received the same Black Panel “stub” with a pattern of many three-beam stars, as in the EQS liftback, but stretched vertically. The same applies to the stern: combined lights with a similar light “stroke” are visible from above, and a similar bumper with reflectors from below.

The interior of the electric car was previously opened by Mercedes-Benz itself. It has a seating capacity of seven (2+3+2 seating formula) and features a 56-inch curved front panel with MBUX Hyperscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster and a separate screen on the passenger side. He also promised four-zone climate control and separate screens for the second row.

The base for the crossover will be the EVA platform. According to some reports, it will be inferior in size to the fuel GLS and stretch from bumper to bumper by 5160 mm.

The 4Matic-badged EQS is expected to produce 523 horsepower and 855 lb-ft of torque, just like a similar liftback, and get a 120-kilowatt-hour traction battery. Later in the range, a “charged” AMG version with a more powerful installation may appear.
