The rarest luxury car ZIL-117, released in 1973, went on sale on one of the online car sales platforms. Such a limousine once belonged to the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the CPSU Leonid Brezhnev. A total of 66 copies of these cars were produced, not counting pre-production samples.
An announcement appeared on Avito Auto for the sale of a unique ZIL-117 with an engine of 300 “horses”, which ran only 69,000 kilometers. In Simferopol, a limousine with bulkhead, leather interior, separate ventilation and heating units is offered for sale.
Judging by the description, the original registration certificate of the car has been fully preserved. The kit includes historical attributes, most notably a siren, flashing lights and a special communication device. According to the seller, the history of the car is legally clean and it has only one owner during the entire period of use.
Recall that the model was brought to the Special Purpose Garage in 1971, and from 1972 to 1982 became the personal transport for Leonid Brezhnev.
