If you own a Volvo car, you can be happy because now you will have less maintenance costs, since the automaker has decided to provide an extended warranty for all brand vehicles.
This Volvo initiative is an offer to customers here in Brazil and ensures that dealer-sold parts and dealer-supplied services will now have a lifetime warranty.
The new lifetime warranty will cover parts and services, but not just new cars, all cars of the brand will be able to enjoy the novelty, even those that have already expired the factory warranty period. Vehicles that are no longer in production, such as the S60 and S90 sedans, will also be eligible for the benefit.
“We take a new step and offer something unprecedented for our customers, who will get more peace of mind and safety when servicing their vehicles.” said AndrĂ© Bassetto, Director of Products and Aftersales.
The new offering replaces the nine-month warranty model for fitting parts at authorized dealerships. This new warranty does not cover parts purchases and maintenance contract services, but does not cover parts that may wear and require periodic replacement, such as brake pads, wiper blades and filters.
Volvo has excelled in intelligent solutions to serve its users. From projects like an interactive HUD windshield with driver assistance information that is still in the early stages of development, to more concrete approaches like building an electrified road network in Brazil to cater for electric vehicles. Even when it comes to vehicles targeted at an audience with greater purchasing power, such initiatives demonstrate the brand’s trust in the Brazilian market and its consumers.
Polestar O2 electric convertible, which accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.2 seconds, will go into production
The car is scheduled to be released in 2026.
