The Belarusian 1 TV channel has released an extensive interview with Gennady Svidersky, general manager of the BelGee plant, which produces Geely cars, aimed, among other things, at the domestic market. So, during his speech, he said that the long-awaited Monjaro crossover would not appear in Belarusian and Russian car dealerships before 2023.
In addition to a large SUV, a certain budget model will join the lineup, but the head of BelGee did not disclose the launch date. Recall that earlier the AvtoVzglyad portal wrote that Geely brought the fourth generation Emgrand sedan to Belarus – it is likely that it will take the vacant seat. But before the start of sales is still far away: first you have to carry out a series of tests and certifications.
In addition, Mr. Svidersky noted that BelGee will continue to develop the electric vehicle business. According to him, Belarusian buyers appreciated the “battery” Geely Geometry C, and therefore “the next deliveries of electric cars are planned”.
