The most affordable version of the Action MT means a 1.5 liter aspirated motor with 113 hp. met., a five-speed “mechanics” with very non-poor equipment. The buyer can count on a rear view camera and rear parking sensors, a tire pressure sensor, cruise control, keyless entry and engine start with one button, a winter package (except heating of the rear seats), as well as a multimedia system with a 10.25-inch touchscreen.
Dealers will charge 100,000 rubles more for Action’s Chery Tiggo 4 Pro. The main difference of this version is the CVT7 variator instead of the “hand”. Other features include an electric “handbrake” with the AutoHold function, a remote engine start system and dedicated second row deflectors.
The third configuration with an engine of 113 horsepower – the family version – is offered at a price of 2,279,900 rubles. At the disposal of the driver and passengers – LED headlights, electric mirrors, a sunroof, side airbags, heated rear seats, electric adjustment of the driver’s seat, two additional speakers of the audio system (six, not four), digital instrument panel .
If you need a more dynamic crossover, look to the performance from Travel – a crossover with a 1.5-litre turbo engine producing 147 horsepower and a more advanced CVT9 variator. Such a car has all-round cameras, a driving mode selection system, a dual-zone “climate”, wireless charging for a smartphone and fashionable red “brakes”. At the same time, it is curious that Travel does not provide LED headlights, although it costs 2,339,900 rubles.
Not many more dealers ask for the top-end Style package – from 2,399,900 “wooden”. In fact, this is the same Travel, only with LED optics, a sunroof, red accents in the exterior and interior design, atmospheric interior lighting and the Chery Connect telematics system, which allows you to control some car systems from your smartphone.
Is Chery Tiggo 4 Pro worth the money? To answer this question, let’s take a look at competitors’ price lists. Haval Jolion is offered at a price of 1,899,000 rubles: the equipment of the simplest version is plus or minus the same, but the Jolion has more “horses”, namely 143, and a six-speed mechanic. The basic Geely Coolray looks even more interesting – with a 150-horsepower engine and a seven-speed “robot”. But it is more expensive, however – from 2,299,990.
Why are there “Chinese”, for the same money you can take a more predictable and reliable “Korean”! Unless, of course, you’re lucky enough to find it in dealers’ warehouses (factories are listed, there are no deliveries). So 2.1 million rubles is enough for an “empty” Hyundai Creta with an engine of 123 hp and 6MKP or even a more attractive and less ordinary Kia Seltos with similar units.
Or, if you look closely at compact SUVs, you can save money by stopping at the pre-styling Tiggo 4, which is still sold at a price of 1,699,900 rubles. Yes, a fresh design and a few new options in Proshka are estimated at 350,000. Apparently Chery just keeps taking advantage of the crisis. Like, they will still buy, for lack of fish in the Russian new car market, after all, the “Chinese” is a fish.
