Motorinvest became the first Russian factory for the production of electric vehicles. The company carries out welding, painting and assembly of machines – until now, however, only according to the SKD method. As the automaker assures, the company’s capacity will allow it to produce more than 100,000 electric trains per year. Another question is that the domestic market does not need that much, because there is no demand for “green” cars at all, but oh well.
As expected, the first model to hit the assembly line was the i-Pro sedan, the most affordable electric car in the Evolute line. Motorinvest will also launch production of the i-Joy crossover and i-Van minivan until the end of the year, and the i-Jet coupe-style SUV next year.
Dealers are already accepting pre-orders for the three “trains” due to arrive in showrooms by 2022. So, the i-Pro sedan is offered at a price of 2,990,000 rubles, and the i-Joy crossover and i-Van minivan – from 3,490,000. , but not more than 925,000 rubles.
Incidentally, the Voyah Free electric crossover also received a Russian price tag. The minimum price is 7,990,000 rubles. And in more detail about this “green” novelty, the portal “AvtoVzglyad” told here.
