On September 29, the LADA Largus driver in the Rostov region did not share the road with a herd of sheep. As a result of the accident, both the car and the animals were damaged. This was reported in the propaganda department of the traffic police of the Don region.

The incident took place around 11 a.m. on the sixth kilometer of the Kamensk-Shakhtinsky-Volchensky highway. According to the agency, the 38-year-old Largus driver saw a flock of sheep by the side of the road and slowed down. However, the animals suddenly jumped onto the road, resulting in an accident: 14 sheep died and the car was damaged. The incident is currently under investigation.

If it is found that the driver has not exceeded the speed limit, the shepherd or the owner of the herd is recognized as the culprit of the accident. You must demand compensation from the latter. But if it was at least one wild bighorn sheep, the driver had to pay a fine of 50,000 rubles per person. Fortunately for him, such animals do not go in large herds.
