Second, under the proposed changes, federal status can only be granted to suburban highways, which are not dual federal highways, Kommersant reports.
Recall that Finance Minister Anton Siluanov earlier in a meeting on road construction drew the president’s attention to the lack of control over the transfer of regional guidelines to federal jurisdiction. According to him, the inaccuracy of the 10-year plan to change ownership of highways, approved in 2018 for a period of five years, has resulted in 10,000 km of regional roads on the national highway in the past five years.
