The presentation of the new Honda Prologue crossover took place in the USA. As conceived by marketers, the model will be positioned one step higher than the popular Honda CR-V. It is also known that the main market for the Prologue will be the American one, because large cars are popular there.
Most interestingly, the Honda Prologue is not an independent Japanese development. The model is based on the Ultium platform, which was developed by General Motors specifically for electric cars. That is, the Prologue’s propulsion is electric. By the way, Cadillac Lyriq (they once wanted to bring it to Russia) and Chevrolet Blazer EV are already built on this “cart”.
Recall that a few years ago, Honda agreed with GM to jointly release a number of electric models for the North American markets: the Japanese wanted to increase their share of electric train sales. Prologue is the first such car.
As for the technical characteristics, the company has not yet disclosed them. It is only known that the wheelbase of the novelty is 3094 mm, it is possible to install a four-wheel drive system, and in the cabin there is an 11-inch multimedia screen.
