But regardless of the trade name, they were sought after in the vastness of our motherland, because they had the right combination: high reliability (not surprising, because the design of the Haysans of those years was based on the indestructible Yamaha Grizzly 660) and an affordable price.
A few years later, for various reasons, we were not supplied with quadrics from this glorious factory for a while. But the market for spare parts for them, on the contrary, began to flourish. And even now, in the age of a total shortage of components and parts on ATVs, Haysan all-terrain vehicles are still considered some of the most maintainable. And now, when there is a complete mess in the ATV market, it would be foolish not to seize the moment and not return the once popular products to motorcycle centers. Plus, the manufacturer now has a very solid lineup—from small-capacity ATVs to high-performance UTVs.
But today we will talk about the flagship model of HISUN, officially delivered to Russia since the beginning of summer, about the Tactic 1000 Grand Turismo ATV. This all-terrain vehicle is equipped with a liter 2-cylinder power plant with a capacity of 68 “horses”. The intended purpose of the “beast” is off-road travel.
The first thing that stands out in the “litrushka” is its size. For lovers of exact figures, we inform you that this colossus is 2550 mm long, 1313 mm wide and 1246 mm high. As for me, this is the biggest quadric in this segment.
On the one hand, gigantic dimensions do not have the best effect on the maneuverability and maneuverability of vehicles, because maneuvering on such a “limousine” among birches is not the easiest thing to do. And you don’t need a lot of talent to get stuck on some bump. On the other hand, these two minuses overlap more than their pluses.
First, the all-terrain vehicle is stable on any terrain and even when you drive it at full speed over the “crossroads”, it feels like you are driving a steam locomotive on rails. Second, in corners where shorter-wheelbase ATVs tend to end up on two wheels, the Tactic 1000 bites the ground with all four tires. Thirdly, this is a high level of comfort when riding with a passenger: there is so much space that at least three people can ride, but this is of course prohibited by the instructions.
In the basic configuration, the all-terrain vehicle is well “filled”: mud tires on alloy wheels, a powerful electric winch, a tow bar, aluminum underbody protection, a passenger backrest, front and rear bumpers, electric power steering … equipment allows you to drive directly from the passenger compartment to go off road.
And although the HISUN Tactic 1000 belongs to the touring car class, it also feels confident on the hard off-road. It is not surprising, because in the arsenal, in addition to a lower gear, there is a rigid blocking of the front axle. You just need to first engage the four-wheel drive and then set aside the protective “flag” on the right block of switches, and the “diff” lock button becomes available to us, which turns the ATV into a natural tank.
During the summer, I have repeatedly seen “Khaisan litrushka” from common users in the forest fields. Reviews about the car are the most positive. A quad bike I met on a ride in September had a “thousand” run of 4,000 miles since the beginning of the summer, and did nothing with it except change the oil and brake pads. That is it!
