How to leave or enter Crimea after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge? This issue has become relevant for many Russians. Portal “AutoVzglyad” found out the details.

It is known that the explosion immediately destroyed two spans of one of the “branches” of the road section of the Crimean Bridge. The authorities immediately began organizing passage through the remaining undamaged half of it. Now there is reverse movement of cars in both directions. Trucks and buses cross the Kerch Strait on two ferries. Two more such ships are on the way. But at the moment, stormy weather is observed in this area and the ferry crossing is difficult.

The reverse of cars on the Crimean Bridge is much better than a complete stop of traffic. However, judging by the messages in the local public on social networks, huge traffic jams at the entrances of the bridge on both sides cannot be avoided. 50 cars in each direction pass through the area of the explosion – in turn. At first glance a lot, but from the side of Taman, for example, traffic jams are registered 40 kilometers before the bridge.

Eyewitnesses write that road services promptly create a kind of sediment storage tanks for vehicles at the entrances to prevent massive cars from driving onto the bridge. One of the authors of the audience of “Overheard Kerch” this morning said that he had gone to the bridge from the mainland since 11 p.m. the previous day and hoped to be at his home in Crimea no earlier than the evening of the present day.

There are also problems on the other side of the strait. Local residents report that you can be stuck in traffic for 4-5 hours before entering the bridge. Theoretically, it is now possible to get from Crimea to mainland Russia and bypass the Crimean Bridge. At least on the day of the incident, this was announced by Oleg Kryuchkov, advisor to the head of the Republic of Crimea on information policy.

– Crimea is stocked with food and oil products. The strategic oil storage facilities are filled. A land corridor has been established through new regions,” Kryuchkov wrote in his Telegram channel.

This route apparently runs along the coast of the Sea of Azov through Melitopol, Berdyansk and Mariupol – to Taganrog and Rostov-on-Don. But there are no official reports or instructions on this matter at this time. Nevertheless, it is known that there are regular buses from Simferopol to Mariupol. There is also a regular bus service from Mariupol to Rostov-on-Don. So, in principle, you can drive from Simferopol to Rostov-on-Don by car without crossing the Crimean Bridge. True, in this case you should not go along the newest autobahn of the Tavrida highway (although in a traffic jam), but “jump” along the unimportant asphalt of the former Ukrainian highways and pass the checks at each of the many checkpoints.
